Invisible Tanks:

November 4, 2007 / by theworldaroundus

It seems that there is a frantic and unceasing pace towards making breakthroughs solely to serve what the Bible calls "The Lust of the Eye" (war).

A new and secret technology that makes tanks "invisible" has been revealed recently by British Ministry of Defense. In secret trials, the army people say they have made a vehicle completely disappear and predicted that an invisible tank would be ready for service by 2012.

The new technology uses cameras and projectors to beam images of the surrounding landscape onto a tank. The result is that anyone looking in the direction of the vehicle only sees what is beyond it and not the tank itself.

People who were at the trials said that the technology is incredible and that If they hadn't been present they wouldn't have believed it. They said they looked across the fields and just saw grass and trees, but in reality they were staring down the barrel of a tank gun.

The brain behind this technology says the next stage is to make the tank invisible without cameras and projectors, which is intricate and complicated but possible. The Ministry is also testing an "invisible" jacket based on the same technology.

This is how the tank might look with background images beamed onto the side:

PS: Grandfather, am I right when I say Bible calls war "the lust of the eye"?

what a way to kill another fellow human[SAD]
  • theworldaroundus said 9 months ago
Just sad, isn't it? Everything used to serve killing and destroying.

How much would it cost them by the way?
  • theworldaroundus said 9 months ago
millions of Dollars for all the package, probably. And it could have been spent to feed the hungry, to build roofs over the homless, make infirmaries for hundreds of people and .....

The dark and bottomless mind of some humans ....

As I read it the object of lust of the eye is not war. It is stated somewhere in Matthew 5, 6, or 7- I forget which. However, the (tongue-in-cheek)(I think) remedy for this according to Jesus is to gouge out the eyes. If I am wrong, and it really does refer to war, that would make sense - and also make the tank invisible.[TONGUE][SMILE][HEART]

"lust of the eyes—the avenue through which outward things of the world, riches, pomp, and beauty, inflame us. Satan tried this temptation on Christ when he showed Him the kingdoms of the world in a moment. By the lust of the eyes David (2Sa 11:2) and Achan fell (Jos 7:21). Compare David's prayer, Ps 119:37; Job's resolve, Ps 31:1; Mt 5:28. The only good of worldly riches to the possessor is the beholding them with the eyes. Compare Lu 14:18, "I must go and SEE it."

"The Bible clearly shows that war is a result of acting according to the inordinate lusts within man. Unrestrained human nature, with its pride, vanity, jealousy, lust and greed is plainly the cause of war."

They are making a big mistake. Creation of more sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapons will only push temperamental nations to just fire bombs instead of fighting a hopeless conventional war. These think tanks should know better than to usher the Third and Last World War.

Sometimes, prediction is a little more than common sense.

War is "The lust of the eye" why? because we trust in what we see and until such time as we trust the spirit of God, we are hoplessly trapped with "The lust of the eye"

So much misplaced energy! Wouldn't it be great if governments would put just 1/10 of the effort they put towards destroying people to use helping people instead?

Very interesting. Many years ago I read and also had an intuition about UFO's using that kind of thing. If you looked at the night sky all you would see was what was 'behind' the craft. The night sky.
Wonder if we got this technology from them, or Universal consciousness?
"Them' being us ...us in the future? Makes me wonder...but then that's my thing...curious mind.

Incredible what can be done with technology. Shameful that they always find ways to use it for murder.[COOL]
