New Weapon for Iraq: Laser Dazzlers

December 26, 2007 / by theworldaroundus

Blackwater mercenaries are going to use it to guard convoys of other private security contractors in Iraq.

The dazzlers temporarily blind their targets with pulses of green laser light. They say they are going to use it to "lessen" civilian casualties in Iraq (but what are they doing in Iraq?).

They say lasers, emitting a green beam and already in use at some U.S. military checkpoints in Baghdad, if used from at least 10 feet away, will not cause any permanent eye damage. They also claim the lasers being sent to Iraq are intended only to dazzle or temporarily blind vehicle drivers and alert them to stop. Iraq is turning into a lab. to test any type of new weapons.

Perhaps like the christians, they pick and choose the parts that fits their own desires or agendas. I didn't know that about the Quran though. To be honest, diversity of race or faith is not big here in the hills of Kentucky, and I never met someone who followed that faith until I started working in the hospital as a nurse in 2001 (our pharmacist and a few docs), but after the attacks, they never discussed those matters...[COOL]

Hope you are doing well doc, glad to see you popping back in. Jenni says Hi![SMILE][SMILE]

    Hello theworldaroundus,

Iraq is now a superpower's playground; enriched with 10% of the world's oil reserves, a history of dictatorship and war, it has been a perfect destination since 2003 to attack; situated right next to Iran, Turkey and Syria, Iraq has become a new trade centre of the superpowers. Now this technology?

    All because of a lie!

Thanks for the article. Take care.

I wouldn't imagine that the military wouldn't test on their citizens...ask Tom Clancy or Michael Crichton.
